If you’re one of the first 100 guests at the “Scoop on Poop” exhibit at Zoo Miami (12400 SW 152 St., Miami), you’ll score a free T-shirt that reads Poop Happens. But don’t get it twisted — this crappy way to spend a day is full of fun and entertainment. You might have a tough time squeezing it all in. We’re talking about the activities, folks. There will be dung beetle races, wild-animal poop tracking, foreign language poop translations, and much more. You’ll even get to take a picture with your face coming out of an elephant’s butt. This 5,000-square-foot traveling exhibition is dropping back on Miami by poopular demand. It’s all based on a hit book of the same name by Dr. Wayne Lynch, who loves his crappy job. According to Zoo spokeswoman Cindy Castelblanco, nobody’s found corn, cell phones, or remote controls, but everyone will have a chance to dig through fecal samples to see what they come up with. The zoo opens at 9:30 a.m., and “Scoop on Poop” runs until May 8. Children under two get in free, probably because they’ve been providing you with their own traveling poop show for months.
