The beginning of the school year is lurking like a creep on Christmas, and even though your coed days are long gone, the Gusman Center is allowing you a blast to your high school past with a special showing of the movie Fame. The Gusmans Flickin Summer Music Series which will also show Flashdance and The Wiz in the coming weeks will let you relive the film that made you want to dance like Leroy and change your name to Coco.
This Thursday at 7 p.m., the lights will go down and the silver screen will come aglow with one of the best dance flicks of all time. Forget High School Musical; you havent seen teenagers sing and dance until you see these fictional New Yorkers do I Sing the Body Electric. Tickets cost nine dollars.
