If you want your evening to conclude with a goodnight kiss and then some, bypass the typical menthol candy and chewing gum and head straight for the guaranteed halitosis-halter. To sweeten its notoriously powerful product, Altoids invites V-Day lovers and loathers to the launch of its Altoids Chocolate Shoppe (2982 Grand Ave., Coconut Grove), a pop-up store that will be open through Wednesday, February 14. Stop by for free limited-edition Yoko Devereaux tees, heartwarming cross-stitch Love Stinks kits, and samples of Altoids dark-chocolate-dipped mints today from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

For vino, hightail it to the Great Wines of Italy trade fair. The boring business part of the two-day fest is almost over, and for $30 you can sip foot-stomped juice from more than 40 of Italy’s finest wineries tonight at 6:00 p.m. at the Doubletree Grand Hotel.
