Everybody knows Andy Cohen. He’s like the male version of Ellen DeGeneres — a gay whom everybody likes. But this gay boy wasn’t always so well-received. For 22 years, he was told he’d never be onscreen due to his lazy eye. But after he produced Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, Project Runway, Top Chef, the Real Housewives franchise, and, well, basically Bravo’s entire lineup, he finally got in front of the camera on the show he hosts, Watch What Happens Live.
Now Cohen has penned Most Talkative, a behind-the-scenes, tell-all book about the television business that also serves as a “manual on how to make it in the television industry.” Books & Books is presenting Cohen, along with John Soliday, associate professor of communication at the University of Miami, Monday evening at 7:30 at the UM Field House (1245 Dauer Dr., Coral Gables). You can get a copy of the book, signed by Cohen himself, and we’re pretty sure he’ll also pose for pictures — this guy just loves the camera.
