Aint No Drag
The drag scene in Miami has been tried and tested by the vicissitudes of time. Through the years, some stars on have shone brightly, while others have simply faded away. Three primary ones remain, their names familiar even to outsiders. Theres blond glamazon Elaine Lancaster, comical cheerleader Shelley Novak, and of course Danilo de la Torre, better known as Adora beautiful, bright, vivacious, and known for camp, color, and eyelashes out to there. Adora isnt called the Queen of South Beach just for giggles; she works hard for the money by hosting events at local nightspots that bring all the boys to the yard. And her latest party at (where else?) Twist brings Latin spice to the popular gay club. Ladies and gentlemen, and gentlemen who dress like ladies, welcome to Sabroso Thursdays!
The night is very colorful. And I also DJ its a new side of Adora, the infamous drag queen explains. Partiers can expect muy caliente Latin rhythms, scantily clad dancers, and two-for-one well drinks and domestic beers from 11 p.m. to 3 a.m.
