I've just bought a couple of your beautiful orchids from one of the Kroger's in the area. They are loaded with sprays of blossoms and buds, so I assume that they've received some excellent fertilizers and possibly hormones. When the blooms are finished, will I be able to save the plants? Will I need to keep up a high level of nutrients, and if so what kind? Thanks for your info,Jan

Beautiful broccoli, Kerry, Kudos to you and your orchids,, I knew that you would be a huge success in the "bromiliads Nursery, but more so in the orchid business that seems to flourish even in the cold weather of North Carolina. I was lucky enough to have an orchid house there, and my orchids survived...with a little help from me of a small ceramic heater, a humidifier and grow lights in the ceiling, and lots of tender love and care. But, because of ill-health, I am now living in Florida, (back where I belong) , and where i have started another orchid garden... i bought a beautiful potted orchid from Publix, and had to let you know that I remembered you, ( and your Silver Vase bromiliads)
