I dont know about his boxing classes, etc. but I do know that his boxing credentials are ridiculously overrated. "pre-Olympic Costa Rican boxing squad"??? WTF is that? "Held the Florida Golden Gloves Boxing title"? Oh you mean Florida, one of the worst amateur boxing programs in the country, big deal, how did he do at the National tournament? I also read once that he was "voted Florida's best boxer"? Haha!!! Oh really, who voted for him? The students in his classes? His boxing credentials are crap and anyone that knows anything about boxing, knows that.

Alex's excercise class pushes you beyond your physical limit momentarialy, so that you eventually achieve the stamina of your teen years. He accomplished this to my Canadian 67 year old bod.Drop in to South Florida Boxing on 7th and Washington in South Beach to capture the flavour of the old 5th street gym, where Angelo Dundee trained 17 world champs. Today it is Alex and his training buddy Louis Lagerman who are doing the work of Angelo.

Yeah, I've known Alex since he was a grommet in Tamarindo and I can say that he is a QUALITY person!! and we really miss him here in Costa Rica.Congradualations Alex!! We're all proud of you here in Tamarindo.

He is a verry good friend, helpfull, Someone you can count on , his energy is Amazing. He loves Boxing a lot. He' s been doing it since he was a little boy.(Pura Vida y siempre para adelante ).

Alex is a great guy, down to earth, a quick thinker, and a great friend. Just do not talk to him if you are Italian and Costa Rica lost a soccer game.Some say his taste in music is questionable ;-)Since I left Miami a year ago, his motivation kicks during class like "one little minute," "hold it," and "don't cry" are missed a lot. I wish there was an Alex in Zurich!

As a student of Alex's at South Florida Boxing in South Beach, I could not agree more with your choice. Not only is he the most fit person I have ever met, but he has the best personality and sense of humor which makes his ass-kicking class that much more enjoyable. Trust me, after his class, sitting down is excruciating, but after the intial pain wears off--the results are well worth the pain. Alex is a great instructor and person! Congrats to him and the whole team at South Florida Boxing.
