When is a South Beach restaurant not a South Beach restaurantç When it's a modest little Argentine grill just a handful of blocks away from the gold-paved streets of Lincoln Road. Actually to call Parrilla Liberty modest is an understatement. But who caresç The food is good and plentiful, the ambiance is downright neighborly, and prices are low, low, low. Less than ten bucks gets you a hearty churrasco dinner with fries that put those served at the toniest steakhouses to shame. A few bucks more gets you an appetite-busting parrillada — blood sausage, chorizo, sweetbreads, short ribs, flank steak, and a choice of sides. Give me liberty or give me Parrilla Liberty.

I planned on taking my wife out to eat one night without telling her where we were going. I wanted to try something new, well really try a new restaurant. I looked up this sight and out of all the restaurants that I saw, on the list I decided to go to the Parilla liberty the best Argentine restaurant in Miami beach\" so it says. When I arrived to Liberty street there were no places to eat any where around. Towards the end of the street there was a door that said Parilla Liberty open. Me and my wife look at each other and said a house, ok thats something new lets try it. It took an hour to look for a parking space because it was parking for residents only. When we finally walked to the restaurant at the entrance there was a large black dog that smelled bad. We went in cause I still wanted to taste the food. Inside the place there were like 5 tables but in the backyard there were about 15 tables. So we sat out side and asked for the menu. The plates started at $17, we ordered our food and and waited for about 30 minutes. Oh and the tables were plastic I forgot to say that. When our food finally arrived the meat was burned it was a $20 plate with just meat and a nasty salad with a coke in the can. While we tryed to eat this food a cat walked in between my wifes legs 3 times in the middle of us eating . Well in other words this place was horrible pleace dont you ever go to place. Somebody call the food inspectors. Trust me you dont want me to talk about the kitchen. It was nasty.

My boyfriend and I have been eating at Parrilla Liberty for over a year now. The skirt steak is wonderful and hard to resist when you're walking anywhere near 17th street and Liberty Ave. and the mouth watering smell of meat sizzling on the grill grabs you! This mom and pop type joint is mostly based around an outdoor area with umbrellas and a constant stream of soccer matches on the big projection TV. I suggest going on a cooler night nice sweating at dinner is not the most charming way to each a really good steak!
