Need an excuse to act like a millennial detective? Find yourself repeating the phrase, "Time is a flat circle?" Get rid of the those summer doldrums and get your Rusty Cohle on with G-SHOCK's #Neverblendin Miami scavenger hunt.

The event invites you to set your timepieces to 'adventure' (hyuk hyuk) and vaminos on a weird combination of alternate reality game, watches, graffiti art, and partying.

Players must complete a Google Street Views puzzle game on their phone, where they spot hidden G-SHOCK logos in various graffiti art pieces. Once they complete this stretch of the game, they will then be directed to a Miami location where the final clue will be obscured in the artwork of local artist Jona Cerwinske, who G-SHOCK has partnered with to create the pieces for the event. His thick black-and-white lined walls can already be viewed around Wynwood.

The first 25 players who arrive at the final destination will receive a prize. (We're no psychics, but we're guessing that the prize will be watch-related. Or perhaps a monocle.) Additionally, there will be a party at said location between 9 p.m. and 11 p.m., tonight, June 12th, where Cerwinske will be present.

And the final stop, contestants can check out a limited edition zine of Cerwinske's work, and enter to win a trip for two to the US Open of Surfing in Huntington Beach, California.

The contest will be open from tomorrow until June 26th.

Susan Vander Schans, director of Marketing and Communications at Casio, had this to say about the event: "Miami was chosen as one of our key markets as it is an important hub of fashion lifestyle...Miami residents will have fun participating in the scavenger hunt as it is both virtual and local, combining technology and street savvy." And here we thought it'd be fun because BOOZE.

So what do watches have to do with anything of this, Susan? "We launched the Camo line of G-SHOCK watches and wanted to do something that related to being stealth yet standing out, which is why we chose the campaign name: Never Blend in."

So if you do win a camo watch, be careful; your friends will never be able to find you again. Because it's camouflage, see.
