He’s so short that when Kool and the Gang sing “Get down, get down,” he’s already there. His swimming pool is a rain puddle in your driveway, and a napkin’s big enough to be his towel. He hijacks his fitted caps from bobblehead dolls. He could even wax a stripper’s ass with his eyebrows. But that’s not what makes comedian Brad Williams funny, that’s what makes him funny looking. A 26-year-old with Achondroplastic dwarfism, Williams riffs on his condition, battling stereotypes by embracing them. So it’s fitting that the tiny dude was discovered by Carlos Mencia, a funnyman who’s famous for telling self-effacing Mexican jokes. Over the last few years, Williams has toured the country opening gigs for Mencia and even appeared on his Comedy Central show, Mind of Mencia. But this Thursday at 8:30 p.m., catch Brad Williams solo at the Miami Improv. He’ll also be doing sets on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
