This Is What Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson Looks Like After Hernial Surgery
In Pain & Gain, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson plays Paul Doyle, a recovering cocaine addict and Christian who was born again in prison. He's also maybe the most giant bodybuilder you've ever seen, a hulking heap of rippling, veiny muscle tissue assembled into the vague shape of a human being.
And, uh, he's still in character.

Johnson missed the L.A. premiere of Pain & Gain this week in order to undergo surgery for a hernial tear incurred while wrestling John Cena at WrestleMania earlier this month. But don't feel too bad for the man with the wayward eyebrow. Judging from his Twitter account, The Rock's doing just fine:
While still in recovery Johnson tweeted the above photo along with a brief update for fans: "Surgery a success! Dr repaired 3 hernial tears (fun pain). Superman is on the mend.. #WeFallWeRise"
Just so we're clear: Yes, that is The Tooth Fairy, flexing his freakishly swoll upper body in a hospital bed. Yes, he's wearing a hospital cap on his bald head. Yes, that Superman t-shirt is mere seconds away from tearing away, Incredible Hulk-style. Yes, that's a hospital gown crunched up at his waist, meaning The Rock's totally freeballin' beneath those sheets.
And yes, this is both the best and most terrifying thing you will see all day.
