First the Grinch stole Christmas with his spindly, lettuce-hued fingers, and then our landlord ruled that denominational holiday decorations be kept far away from all balconies, windows, and common areas. But Coconut Grove artist Glenn Terry is bringing the yuletide back with a viewing of his locally shot Christmas Film Special. The love scenes are scented with mistletoe, and the bad guys wield pine cones and handfuls of tinsel... er, maybe not, but you will get all eggnogstalgic watching Terry and his pal comb the Grove for that mythical creature called the holiday spirit.
The screening begins at 7:30 p.m., and its 30-minute run time guarantees youll be in and out before you can say, I saw Mommy kissing Santa Claus. Its free, of course, and goes down at Books & Books, 265 Aragon Ave., Coral Gables.
