In keeping with the madness that is Fourth of July weekend, one of nightlife’s biggest names will join forces with one of nightlife’s hottest clubs for one epic evening of all sounds electronic. World-famous Dutch DJ Tiësto will spin Thursday from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. at the celeb-studded den of debauchery, the Fontainebleau’s LIV (4441 Collins Ave., Miami Beach). “The Greatest DJ of All Time” (according to Mixmag) once called LIV “the best club in the world.” Talk about an explosive combo.
“Paradise in Dubs” (as he’s also known) has been cruising the globe since ’94 and boasts a track record that includes a Grammy nom, multiple MTV awards, and even a Madame Tussauds doppelganger. Fans of the megastar know him for tracks like “Dance4Life,” “Adagio for Strings,” and “Suburban Train.” Tiësto spends a lot of time performing in the MIA, as evidenced by his monthly residency at LIV, as well as the title of his latest release, Club Life, Vol. 2: Miami. He’ll spin his electronic dance, trance, progressive trance, electro house, and house tunes for concertgoers till the wee hours.
