The Funny Fergie

Craig Ferguson, who might be the only late-night TV host without an ax to grind with NBC, is bringing his irreverent brand of stand-up to South Florida. The Coral Springs Center for the Arts will host Ferguson's laugh fest this Tuesday as part of a 24-date nationwide tour.

The Scottish-born comic took over the Late Late Show in 2005 after he starred in ABC's Maybe This Time and The Drew Carey Show. Beyond his success on the small screen, Ferguson has developed a cult following with his standup. His rants on the myth of the celebrity and the excesses of Hollywood get major play on YouTube, and his impressions of Scottish national treasure Sean Connery are spot on. He has also written feature films such as Saving Grace and a New York Times best seller, American on Purpose, about trying to get U.S. citizenship.
