In 2009 during Art Basel Miami Beach, Natalie Meruelo's grandmother brought together a handful of rising Latin American artists and dubbed the makers' fair NOBE67 Art. Three years ago, in 2013, Meruelo herself redesigned the concept, dropping "Art" from the name and making it more fashion-focused. This Friday, the pop-up shop will relaunch in Wynwood with 40 brands showcasing their designs.
“I've always loved fashion," the young attorney and entrepreneur says. "I went to business school- undergrad at Georgetown, and then I actually went to law school, so I don't have your typical background for anyone in the fashion industry."
The temporary market will have a two-week run at White Dot Gallery in Wynwood and feature high-end jewelry, prêt-à-porter apparel, and other exclusives. There will be something for every style and budget. Designers such as Charles Phillip Shanghai, Manebi, and Moda Zeta will present new collections of their shoes, handbags, and other creations.

Valentina Delfino, a Brickell resident, debuted her line, Valentina Delfino Designs, during NOBE67 three years ago. She says it was a great career choice that launched her into the fashion business headfirst. "It's a great place to showcase for the first time,” Delfino adds.
This year's theme centers on producing brand awareness for both small, independent companies as well as larger household names. NOBE67 provides designers unique services, including digital marketing campaigns across Latin America and Miami. For guests, the pop-up has planned events throughout the week, such as a tailored shopping experience. Other activations include a happy hour, blogger and media meetups, a collaboration with nail salon Vanity Projects Miami, and demonstrations by designers.
