Free Events This Week: National Parks, Yoga, and Karate Skills
It's seriously unfair that anyone is forced to work this time of year. Our brains are basically mush topped with turkey, football and potential presents. What's the point? And isn't today a holiday? Why is anyone working? WHYYYYYY?
Yeah, we're a wee bit bitter. But to occupy at least part of the morning, here's a lineup of free stuff to get into this week. So you can save your bucks for Black Friday.
- Free entry to all national parks: In MIA-land, this includes Everglades National Park and Dry Tortugas National Park. Make nice with Mother Nature over the long weekend.
- Free yoga in Peacock Park: Downward dog your way to good health.
- Trivia Tuesdays at Elwoods: Use all your inane and useless knowledge to score some free booze.
- Festive Fridays at Southland Mall: Learn some Bruce Lee-style skills from the folks at National Karate's "Team Shendo."
