Nobody likes moving. All the boxes and cleaning and manual labor? Sometimes, it seems easier to just stay put.

But in hindsight, now that New Times is fully settled into our new digs at the Wynwood Building, it was all worth it. And we're ready to celebrate with you, Shots Miami, and of course, free booze.

Join us this Friday at Shots, just a few blocks south of our striped new office, for a very New Times housewarming. There'll be free drinks, shots for $3, and even bottles for you high-rollers at not-so-high roller prices: $100 apiece.

(We'll be sticking to the free hooch, but that's just because we're saving up for kick-ass new office art.)

All you have to do to get in on the drink specials is download our Happy Hours app, which really is something you should have done by now anyway, especially if you like cheap booze. Complex Magazine named it one of the ten most essential apps for Miamians, after all, and its benefits will last you long after your Saturday-morning hangover, giving you the inside scoop on happy-hour specials all across the city.

Pro tip: Download the app now so you can make a beeline for the bar when you arrive this Friday.

New Times' happy hour at Shots runs from 7 to 9 p.m. this Friday, March 29. Read more and RSVP at Facebook.
