In case you were wondering, the increased amount of hair on your chest can be attributed to the rising of a full moon, not that 100-proof Absolut you drank last night. And in honor of this monthly lunar phenomenon, the über-cool organization Alchemical Courtyard is bringing you Moon over Miami, the perfect party to howl at that great pie in the sky.

From 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. at the Raleigh Hotel’s Poolside Oasis, enjoy global rhythms courtesy of Sweetbone and DJ Omar while you sip complimentary hot cocoa and have your fortune read by two psychic sisters with tarot cards. The night is in honor of the moon, but the vibe is all about shining a light on local culture. “We’re celebrating Miami Beach because we live in a great creative culture,” says Alchemical’s special projects administrator, Sadhu. “Our natural habitat on Miami Beach is stunning, and we want to share that with our neighbors. And our neighbors happen to be international travelers, which is kinda cool.” Admission is 10 bucks.
