It's not easy having eyes all over the scene, being around to take in all the wild visuals at all the worthwhile places in the city. There are, however, those parties and gallery openings where a fortunate photographer can point and shoot. Every week, in collaboration with WorldRedEye, New Times brings you a solid recap of all the recent experiences you may have missed around Miami. It's impossible to be everywhere, but hey, we can try to keep our Eye on Miami.

November 4, Wednesdays at Bâoli Miami
The babes were out to play during Bâoli’s wild “My Boyfriend Is Out of Town” rager last week. Partygoers fueled themselves with delicious eats, drinks, and high-energy sounds that allowed them to party until the early hours of the morning.

November 5, District Sounds: The Electrostrings at Palm Court
It was another night of sweet sounds and all-around good vibes as District Sounds, a live music series in the Design District’s Palm Court, brought out the Electrostrings. Guests mixed and mingled to killer sounds while sipping sangria courtesy of Ella Café.

November 5, Ace Hood at Story
Rapper Ace Hood shut down Story with a killer performance that had the whole crowd getting loose. Partygoers couldn’t help themselves from rapping along to his sick sounds, including hits “Bugatti” and “We Outchea.”

November 5, Eat, Drink & Get Down With Warby Parker
Wynwood Arts District denizens came together to welcome Warby Parker Annex to the neighborhood in true Miami style. Tucked away in Wynwood, the freestanding eyewear boutique hosted an outdoor movie screening of Jim Jarmusch’s Night on Earth, complete with chef-inspired popcorn by BrownBag Popcorn Co., appropriately branded with the Warby Parker logo, tacos by Coyo Taco, delightful ceviche by newcomer GK Bistronomie, artisanal tartines by trendy Fooq’s, and craft cocktails by Rutte. 

November 5, Lunice at Sidebar
Lunice was full of energy and dope sounds as he flooded Sidebar with an epic set.

November 6, Kaskade at Story
Friday night at Story was all about Kaskade, and he swooped in and absolutely killed it for the house full of revelers eager to vibe the night away to his sounds.

November 7, 21st-Annual InterContinental Miami Make-A-Wish Ball
The 21st-annual InterContinental Miami Make-A-Wish Ball proved to be the can’t-miss event of the South Florida social scene. Marc Anthony rocked the stage as the featured entertainer of the ball, and Gabrielle Anwar reprised her role as celebrity MC. In its 20-year history, the ball has raised more than $16.8 million, enough to grant the heartfelt wishes of more than 3,520 children with life-threatening medical conditions. Guests enjoyed an over-the-top evening of dinner, drinks, dancing, and bidding on fantasy items and experiences in the famed live and silent auctions.

November 7, Rico Love at Delano
The Delano’s ultimate poolside retreat, Delano Beach Club, teamed up with Piper Heidsieck Champagne to present singer-songwriter and rapper Rico Love for an unforgettable night under the Miami sky. Partiers sipped bubbly provided by Piper Heidsieck Champagne, while Rico Love wooed the crowd with his smooth vocals and catchy beats as he performed hit singles off his new album, Turn the Lights On.

November 8, Sean “Diddy” Combs, Nas, N.O.R.E., Ace Hood, and Carnage at LIV on Sunday
Leave it up to LIV on Sunday to close the week in the most epic way possible. Sean “Diddy” Combs, Nas, N.O.R.E., Ace Hood, and DJ Carnage were all out and about, letting loose and seizing the last moments of Sunday-funday.

November 10, Diplo’s Birthday Celebration With Walshy Fire, G-Eazy, and A-Trak at E11even
Tuesday night was one for the books as Diplo celebrated his birthday with a blowout bash at E11even. Fellow Major Lazer member Walshy Fire, G-Eazy, A-Trak, and Sam Feldt all came out to join in the madness. The night was also a bon voyage party as ragers prepared to set sail on the Mad Decent Boat Party this weekend.
