Express Comes to Miami Beach for Exclusive Sneak Peek, Music by A-Trak
Calling all fashion mavens of the 305. Thursday marks a day of narrow runways, models by the dozens, and blogger beauties offering up killer style advice. Express is debuting their Spring 2014 Runway collection in the heart of South Beach, and they've chosen the iconic Raleigh Hotel for this exclusive first look.
The live, coed show is set to take place outside, taking full advantage of Miami's beautiful weather. Attendees will have the chance to buy pieces from the collection fresh off the runway.
To help quell your envy of the flawless, sample-size models in floral print and chambray accountrements, culling drinks and musical beats is in order. Cue the open bar and world-class turntablist A-Trak.
But even beats, booze, and bodies aren't the only source of entertainment, Thursday. While being heavily entranced -- and not to mention sedated -- you'll also be able to chat up local fashion bloggers, uniting together to amplify your fashion IQ with valuable how-to segments and fruitful style tips.
"I'm really excited to be partnering with Express again this year," says fashion blogger Annie Vazquez of the Fashion Poet. "Last year, I was a brand ambassador for their two day pop-up shop and party, and I had a blast, but this year it's bigger and better."
Fellas, there will be some man-candy for your visual stimulation by way of Chris Bosh. To break the overflowing surface tension, "CB" will take a day off from dribbling b-balls to give in to his softer side of cotton blends and acrylic threads.
The RSVP-only event will furnish side festivities such as DIY screen-printing by blogger P.S. I Made This, nail and hair styling stations, and giveaways -- because free goodies make everyone happy.
