Tonight nouveau circus impresario Neil Goldberg invites you not only to dream the dream, but to experience the magic of the imaginary world of acrobats, contortionists, clowns, and dancing girls in his Cirque. If you squint your eyes and click your heels, there just may be a place for you. Your future begins at 8:00 at the University of Miami Convocation Center, 1245 Walsh Ave., Coral Gables. Classical pianist Richard Goode likes books. Touring the world means discovering bookstores or visiting favorite literary haunts. Often he returns to the New York City apartment he shares with his wife, and a library of tomes numbering 5000, with more fodder for his collection. A student of piano great Rudolf Serkin, Goode is also fond of music, like Ludwig Van Beethoven's. Ten years ago he was the first American-born pianist to record the complete Beethoven sonatas, garnering a Grammy Award nomination for his sensitive interpretations. During Sunday Afternoons of Music, expect Goode to throw in a little Beethoven among the Schumann and Schubert he'll play. Showtime is 4:00 at Gusman Concert Hall, 1314 Miller Dr., Coral Gables. Tickets cost $40. Call 305-271-7150. -- By Nina Korman
