Although no championship is up for grabs, when lightweight brawlers Michael "Cold Blood" Clark faces Levander Johnson tonight, the stakes are high indeed. The 135-pound boxers each have much to gain by a win. For Columbus, Ohio's Clark (34-2-0), it would give him the top contender ranking for the International Boxing Federation title. Combined with his North American Boxing Federation belt and World Boxing Council ranking, Clark could ultimately be named the undisputed world champion in his weight class. For Atlantic City, New Jersey native Johnson (33-4, 25 KOs), a win assures a top-ten spot in the WBC, which leads to a shot at the IBF title as well. Clark and Johnson met once before in June 2001. Clark won on a TKO after just 5 rounds. The winner of tonight's 12-round main event, shown on ESPN-2's Friday Night Fights, gets the right to fight IBF champion Julio "The Kid" Diaz from Mexico. Five additional bouts will also be featured. At press time these have yet to be finalized, but look out for local heavyweight Eliecer Castillo, a Cuban-born southpaw who'll be fighting in a ten-round bout. Doors open at 7:00 p.m. at Miccosukee Casino and Resort, 500 SW 177th Ave. Tickets range from $15 to $75. Call 305-222-4648. - Juan Carlos Rodriguez

In atonement for those mindless weekends you've trudged through the mall, Cinnabon in hand, accumulating more crap you don't need, do some mallcrawling for a righteous cause. Join in Easter Seals Miami-Dade's First Annual Walk With Me inside Aventura Mall (19501 Biscayne Blvd.) and give people with disabilities equality, dignity, and independence. While you stroll, you can mentally list all the stuff you'll buy to reward yourself when the stores open. Then you can enjoy one of the first Cinnabons made that day, and complete your mallgoing experience. Doors open at 7:30 a.m. A donation of $50 for adults and $25 from children is required to participate. Call 305-547-4713. - Patrice Elizabeth Grell Yursik
