Artist's statement: "This is a photo I took of a gun battle between Everglades Preservation Extremists and Tamiami business owners. Fighting near the demilitarized zone along the eastern Glades border has been steady in light of rising uncertainty about the effectiveness of the Urban Development Boundary."
