Everybody has bad days, but when you're a kid, it's magnified by a thousand. Alexander learns that the hard way. He wakes up with gum in his hair, trips on a skateboard on his way out of bed, and sees his two brothers get supercool cereal box prizes while he gets a bowlful of nothing. That's just the beginning of a monumentally crappy day for little Alexander. So crappy, in fact, he decides he wants to move somewhere far away, like Australia, where perhaps a kid can live life without such crappy days. Adapted from Judith Viorst's award-winning children's book, and with songs by Shelly Markham, Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day is a wacky and fun musical comedy for the whole family.
Saturdays, 2 p.m. Starts: Oct. 15. Continues through Nov. 19, 2011
