There’s something supersexy about Peruvian food. Even the dishes’ monikers have a certain sensuality — “ceviche” sounds way better than “marinated fish,” and “papas a la huancaína” is a huge improvement on “potatoes with cheese sauce.”
And if titillating entrées such as those get your mouth watering, you’re in for a smorgasbord of deliciousness at Peru Gourmet 2014.
Miami’s best Peruvian eateries will showcase their edibles with the city’s most seductive view, thanks to the Rusty Pelican (3201 Rickenbacker Cswy., Key Biscayne). From Divino Ceviche to El Gran Inka to Delizzia, the yummiest food purveyors will be on hand. And it wouldn’t be a Peruvian party without cerveza, pisco, cordials, and Inca Kola.
Proceeds benefit Asociación Emergencia Ayacucho, a group that helps orphaned and abandoned children in Ayacucho, Peru — because there’s nothing sexier than lending a helping hand.
Sounds pretty tempting, ¿sí?
