I receive The Miami Herald,no I don't read it on line I actually pick it up from my driveway every morning.I request that it be double bagged since A soggy newspaper is not my favorite way to start the day. Now you would think that this would be a simple request........wrong. The Miami Herald cannot handle this. It comes double bagged for about 3 days then we're back to the single bag. This morning I made my request once again. The person on the phone said" ok I'll ask for it to be double bagged when it's raining". "No" I said "not when it's raining, every day" I explained that if the paper is delivered at 5am there is a distinct possibility that it could be raining at 9am when I pick it up, unless of course the delivery person had some super powers regarding the future of the weather. To which the person on the phone replied "don't use that Language with me" a true non sequitur! And this folks is why when you read our hometown paper you will notice they have run out of proof readers and you have to be Sherlock Holmes to know what the hell the're talking about.I would stick to the New York Times but after all I do live in Miami.
