What does it take to be classic? It’s not just about age but also about making an impact — leaving your mark. Decades after the golden era of ’70s rock ’n’ roll, the artists and albums that shaped musical history continue to inspire and breathe life into coming generations — proving that just because you’re a classic doesn’t mean you have to move over.
Magic City Casino (450 NW 37th Ave., Miami) believes classics live on, and it’s putting its money where its mouth is during the Classic Rock Legends Music Festival. Over the course of three days, ten bands will take the stage to remind us why rock ’n’ roll will never die.
Kicking off Friday and running through Sunday, the classic rock fest presents John Kay & Steppenwolf, Three Dog Night, Cheap Trick, and Kansas, plus free shows from Foghat, Orleans, Blue Öyster Cult, John Cafferty & the Beaver Brown Band, the Lovin’ Spoonful, and Herman’s Hermits starring Peter Noone.
