More About

With this album, it's more of a subtle, tongue-in-cheek, somewhat serious thing. The actual lyric in the song is "No problem with faith, just fear." So again, it's about intolerance. We're not going after anybody for having religious faith, whether they be Christian, Muslim, Hindu. It's all fine — until it starts infringing on our rights and trying to control the legislative branch. [laughs] That is a problem.

This concert kicked off their US Tour. How many bands, now a days, do this in Miami...huh?!? Jerry Cantrell's guitar playing was intoxicating. The new singer William Duvall sang every song beautifully. He looked honored to be the front man for AIC. Obviously, he can't replace Layne Staley - the original singer, yet he seemed really respectful of the fans, and had compassionate eyes. When they sang 'Rooster' - everyone belted out the lyrics, especially that powerful ending - "ya know he ain't gonna die!" I felt like we were singing to all the f'en terrorist MTFKA's out there - cause we're all Roosters, now. Regarding their protest of right wing conservative religious groups, people need to chill. The band was never a political band. Obviously, the members are older now and they're reading papers. They have their opinion, and they are entitled to it. I'm a conservative, anti lefty and can tell you they did not go into any political views during the concert. Thank goodness! I went to rock out to one of my favorite bands, and they delivered.

Well, I guess it was to come eventually. Jerry has taken part in the deaths of two close friends, and  now has to fan the flames of public discourse by putting down a staple in billions of peoples lives across the earth. HIm and his bands comments are old and worn out and they will be called out on it.

I am sure they will lose a lot of fans and of course get the big thumbs up from the "left-wing".

Living in Seattle and California, plus being a a bit of a lemming in the music industry rhetoric and a hypocrite to boot (helping to create the vehicle that sent some to their death) has placed him in the pantheon of over paid grade schoolers who's comments make them sound very uneducated.

Grow up guy's, you have no idea what you are talking about. Just be glad you are in a country that allows public displays of stupidity and disrespect.

Religion is why you are here at all. Think about it.

I was hoping for an article about AIC, and got to read a very bigoted article with religious hate speech. I guess it's easier than picking on certain religions that will call for decapitation just for blasphemous cartoon drawings.

Well, at least grunge is back in town and at least 2 original members of AIC did not OD on heroin.
