Thanks to the reporter (Michael Miller) for publishing my story. My only rebuttal is regarding owner Thomas Mitchell stating he saw me limp in on camera, fall on clean carpet and remove my own skate. According to Mitchell that is false. I spoke with him 11/15/2013 after that portion of the article was brought to my attention, this statement was denied and it was suggested he requested an unacknowledged retraction. I had my Attorney on stand-by as there is zero validity to that claim. Since the owner was inclined to say he didn't say it I am satisfied to attach this comment to your article and carry on with life. If indeed I was a litigious person he would most certainly need to produce those video tapes to my Attorney to validate those claims. My injury was 100% due to negligence but I accept the fact that I signed a waiver so Super Wheels can't be held responsible. I set out that day to have fun, not to have my ankle sawed open and add 6 screws and a plate as a lifetime accessory for myself so that I could sue someone. Michael Miller I am certain you didn't add anything of that nature because as writers we know better. Thomas Mitchell I imagine something along those lines must have been mentioned but I am satisfied with our conversation and happy to bring a pleasant closure to a place I once enjoyed quite often and very much.
