More About

Oh, and totally famous European DJs, who'll be invading SoBe's best clubs for four straight nights of expensive and illicit uhntz-uhntz. From a pair of Italians who've been in the game since the mid-'90s to a Dutchman who walked away with last year's Beatport Best Remixer award, the EU is taking over America's favorite seaside playground.

These are the six best club parties on South Beach.

Kolombo and Lou Lou Players. Presented by Kontrol. Thursday, August 16, 11 p.m., Mansion, 1235 Washington Ave., Miami Beach; 305-695-8411; mansionmiami.com. Tickets cost $15 plus fees via wantickets.com. Ages 21 and up. If dropping disco-house were an Olympic sport, Belgium's Olivier Grégoire, AKA Kolombo, would be a serious gold medal contender. In recent years, the acclaimed producer has remixed and released a stellar lineup of electronic dance music on some of the world's most prolific imprints — Noir Music, Turbo, Future Classic, etc. Moreover, he's amassed an impressive international following with his polished live show and seemingly never-ending tour schedule.

Sunnery James and Ryan Marciano. Thursday, August 16, 11 p.m., LIV, 4441 Collins Ave., Miami Beach; 305-674-4680; livnightclub.com. Tickets cost $40 to $50 plus fees via wantickets.com. Ages 21 and up. The electronic music DJ pool is so deep that it's easy for certain artists to sink to the bottom. But Dutch production duo Sunnery James and Ryan Marciano are not those DJs. After Swedish House Mafia member Axwell played a gig with them in Ibiza, the EDM superstar said, "If there were a Dutch version of Swedish House Mafia, it would be Sunnery James and Ryan Marciano." That's about the biggest confidence booster a DJ could ask for.

Manuel De Le Mare. Saturday, August 18, 10 p.m., Wall Lounge, 2201 Collins Ave., Miami Beach; 305-938-3131; wallmiami.com. Tickets cost $60 plus fees via wantickets.com. Ages 21 and up. Italian Manuel De Le Mare has spent the better part of his career overdosing on killer music and developing his own patois. "I take the main music elements from the original and I translate it in my own language," he recently told the DJ List. "First I play it in the clubs, and after a road test, I just send it to the label I think it's good for." The approach landed him a Beatport Remixer of the Year award in 2011.

Michael Woods. Saturday, August 18, 11 p.m., Mansion, 1235 Washington Ave, Miami Beach; 305-695-8411; mansionmiami.com. Tickets cost $30 plus fees via wantickets.com. Ages 21 and up. Compared to some of the bigger names on the electronic dance music circuit, Michael Woods is still considered a relative newcomer. The London-based producer released his first single in 2000, but 2010 was his breakthrough year. After a U.S. tour, a summer residency in Ibiza, and a European invitation from Deadmau5, Woods cemented himself as an EDM heavyweight. In 2011, Beatport recognized his superior DJ skills and nominated him as one of the best remixers of the year.

NO_ID. Saturday, August 18, 11 p.m., LIV, 4441 Collins Ave., Miami Beach; 305-674-4680; livnightclub.com. Tickets cost $75 to $125 plus fees via wantickets.com. Ages 21 and up. About four years ago, Holland-based DJ duo NO_ID's "Wurld" won the Amsterdam Dance Event Demolition Contest and it was recognized as one of the best house tracks of the year. Today, the pair is still churning out hits and allowing the music to "speak for itself."

Nari and Milani. Sunday, August 19, 11 p.m., Set, 2201 Collins Ave., Miami Beach; 305-938-3131; wallmiami.com. Tickets cost $30 plus fees via wantickets.com. Ages 21 and up. Yellow Prod, Juicy Music, and Size Records are just a few of the labels Maurizio Nari and Ronnie Milani have worked with since breaking onto the scene in 1996. And they aren't showing any signs of slowing down.
