More About

Now, it's obviously the ultimate way to watch NFL action. But the major drawback to a nightclub inside a sports venue: Nicky Romero isn't DJing. The Dutch wunderkind will appear at the original LIV, though. And he's just one of several international jocks jamming 'round the city at this weekend's six best club parties.

Paolo Mojo. With Walker and Royce. Thursday, August 9, 11 p.m., Mansion, 1235 Washington Ave., Miami Beach; 305-695-8411; mansionmiami.com. Tickets cost $15 plus fees via wantickets.com. Ages 21 and up. Paolo Mojo is billed as "a true international," dropping underground electro beats and epic re-edits at some of the most popular clubs on Earth. Most impressive, however, he also runs a successful record label, Oosh, on the side.

Nicky Romero. Thursday, August 9, 11 p.m., LIV, 4441 Collins Ave., Miami Beach; 305-674-4680; livnightclub.com. Tickets cost $40 to $50 plus fees via wantickets.com. Ages 21 and up. Getting old happens unexpectedly. One day you're on spring break, the next you're crunching numbers at a dead-end job. But it's only temporary, right? You hang onto that dream of breaking into the EDM market, touring the globe, and sleeping with supermodels. Well, it's time to let go. Because you're only getting older and the DJs are only getting younger. Like 23-year-old Nicky Romero.

Paul Arthur and Paul E. Friday, August 10, 11 p.m., Cameo, 1445 Washington Ave., Miami Beach; 305-532-2667; cameomiami.com. Tickets cost $20 plus fees via wantickets.com. Ages 21 and up. Producing great tracks and mixing at one of South Beach's legendary hot spots are two completely different things. One takes place in the privacy of a well-lit studio, the other in front of several hundred people in the dark. For Paul Arthur and Paul E, though, it's no big thing. Whether they're making beats or remixing them, the ultimate goal is just starting a freaking party.

Richard Grey. Saturday, August 11, 11 p.m., Wall Lounge, 2201 Collins Ave., Miami Beach; 305-938-3131; wallmiami.com. Tickets cost $60 plus fees via wantickets.com. Ages 21 and up. It's one of about 30 pseudonyms that Richard Christian Rene Jacquin has used in his celebrated 13-year career, but it's probably the most fitting. See, Richard Grey was a 15th-century knight and the half-brother of King Edward V of England. In other words, he was practically royalty. Just like Richard Grey the DJ.

Prok & Fitch. Sunday, August 12, 11 p.m., Set, 320 Lincoln Rd., Miami Beach; 305-531-2800; setmiami.com. Tickets cost $30 plus fees via wantickets.com. Ages 21 and up. Rumor has it that before Abercrombie, there was Prok. But P&F didn't look as nice in print ads as A&F. So advertisers eventually agreed to ditch Prok and settled on Abercrombie. OK, so the two have nothing in common. One sells clothes; the other drops beats. We prefer the latter.

In Stereo with David Penn. Sunday, August 12, 4 p.m., Nikki Beach, 1 Ocean Dr., Miami Beach; 305-538-1111; nikkibeach.com. Tickets cost $20 plus fees via wantickets.com. Ages 21 and up. It's a good time to be a Spaniard. Sure, the country's economy is in the dumps, but their sports teams are on point and their DJs are some of the best in the world. For proof, go SoBe ballin' with Spain's David Penn at Nikki Beach. Olé, olé, olé.
