Featuring numerous set pieces, witty banter, and togas, the fast-paced, cheeky classic Broadway musical that satirizes Roman times and the swinging '60s makes its run at the University of Miami Ring Theatre. Looking to win his freedom from slavery, Pseudolus attempts to lure the sexy courtesan Philia for his young, love-stricken master, Hero. Pseudolus has to somehow pry Philia from her parents as well as from Miles Gloriosus, the captain of the Roman army who has been promised her hand in marriage. What Pseudolus discovers along the way will turn everyone's lives upside down.
