Miami is one of the most pet-friendly places to live. Lincoln Road is overrun with little dogs wearing designer labels, and there are probably just as many cats curled up in a spot of sun waiting for their humans to come home. And yet there are still literally thousands of homeless dogs and cats that need someone to love them. And you need love, too. Which is why you need to get a little proactive with the whole finding true love thing -- by adopting a pet. The ASPCA has teamed up with Miami-Dade Animal Services, The Humane Society of Greater Miami Adopt-A-Pet, the Cat Network, and other agencies to hold a 24-hour pet adoption event this weekend at Tropical Park. And they've also taken tons of hilarious, professionally posed photos of eligible pups and gatos that put Glamour Shots to shame.
