Can’t get enough of the pomp and spandex seen on WWE’s Monday-night Raw, Friday-night SmackDown, and monthly pay-per-view events? Then let this news pump (handclap) you up: Starting Saturday, WrestleMania XXVIII brings five days of musclebound theatrics to Miami. From seeing the likes of Lucha Libre legend Mil Mascaras and often-controversial boxing knockout Mike Tyson inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame on Saturday at the American Airlines Arena (601 Biscayne Blvd., Miami), to meeting WWE stars and legends such as “Rowdy” Roddy Piper, Alberto Del Rio, and WWE champion CM Punk at daily WrestleMania Axxess sessions at the Miami Beach Convention Center (1901 Convention Center Dr., Miami Beach) during the next couple of days, WWE really flexes its muscles when the big show comes to town. The main event begins Sunday at 6:30 p.m. with WrestleMania at Sun Life Stadium, where hometown hero Dwayne “the Rock” Johnson will take on John Cena, Punk will defend his title against Chris Jericho, World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan will battle “The Celtic Warrior” Sheamus, and more. Depending on how close you want to be to the action, tickets to WrestleMania range from $25 to $1,569.75 (and that’s not counting admission to Axxess and other events). But if you’re a WWE fan, there’s nothing like being part of the WrestleMania excitement, so it’s likely to be money well spent, even from the cheap seats.
