For the past few years, Made Event's Sunday School made up a big slice of the underground house and techno pie during Winter Music Conference week, especially with heavyweights such as Richie Hawtin, Luciano, and Seth Troxler headlining its whopping three-day lineup.

But alas, Sunday School is no more. It went kaput after 2011, with Made focusing its efforts on the Electric Zoo Festival in New York. Nevertheless, marathon partiers needn't worry about this year's action dying down prematurely, because Liaison Artists, Embrace, SAFE, and Beatsme have teamed up to fill that Sunday gap with Last Resort.
The choice of venue alone, Villa 221, is a major selling point. With its multiple interior and exterior spaces, this cozy downtown Miami spot will provide the perfect atmosphere for a week-ending after-hours throwdown. Of course, though, this bash's main draw is its stellar lineup, featuring more than a dozen international dance music stars. On the cutting-edge techno tip, there's DJ-production outfit Visionquest as well as Joris Voorn, while Maceo Plex, Maya Jane Coles, and Tim Green straddle the dark and sexy aspects of tech-house. But fun-loving boogie heads will also get their fix with Wolf + Lamb, Soul Clap, and Footprintz hitting the decks.
No doubt, this party should be any true WMC junkie's Last Resort.
