Perhaps one of the most versatile actor/comedians of our time, John Leguizamo is performing live on stage at The Fillmore (1700 Washington Ave., Miami Beach) this weekend. He's the lisping Sid we know from Ice Age and the sassy Miss Chi Chi Rodriguez we love from To Wong Foo: Thanks for Everything, Julie Newmar. He’ll be performing his hit Broadway show, Ghetto Klown, complete with break dancing and booty-popping all over the stage. It’s a one-man show with a whole lot of characters.
You can expect to laugh your face off as J-Leg pokes fun at his Latin culture, growing up in the ghetto, and rewriting the English language with the words "norf" and "souf." (He attributes that to being so poor he couldn't afford a "-th.") The self-proclaimed first place loser will put forth a bucket of fun for the weekend (though in no way is he promising high-end fun, because that's just too expensive).
