One of the greatest things about Miami in the wintertime is having the opportunity to run a weekend marathon. Right? Bueller? Bueller? OK, for those of you who'd prefer to skip the sweat, cramps, dehydration, and overall physical punishment, Sunday's 2012 ING Miami Marathon and Half Marathon is an opportune spectator event to support competitors. Throw on your finest neon leg warmers, spandex, sweatbands, and personalized posters to applaud runners along the race route from 6:45 to 9 a.m. For the ultimate experience, stake out a space in the ING Cheering Zone or at the starting line, mile 10.5, or the finish line. You can also visit the Nissan Health & Fitness Expo from noon to 7 p.m. Friday and from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday at the Miami Beach Convention Center, where more than 100 exhibitors specializing in running shoes, apparel, nutrition, and fitness will cater to your workout alter ego.
