Totally contradicting Western civilization's standard calendar, New Year's Eve now lasts a lot longer than just one night. Especially in Miami Beach.
In the land of endless neon and fake boobs, NYE has become a seven-day holiday weekend packed with stupid hats, stupider behavior, and absolutely insane admission fees. You won't sleep. You will puke. And you just might go bankrupt by 12:01 a.m. January 1, 2012.
Predictably, this totally irresponsible, extra-long, end-of-year celebration will begin with Max Vangeli and AN21's pre-2012 bash at the Fontainebleau's glossiest nightclub, LIV. But not-so-predictably, your general-admission ticket will cost only $40 (or the equivalent of a couple of watery mojitos in the hotel's lobby bar), a serious deal during New Year's week, when $100,000 barely buys a table, a bunch of bottles, and a bit of face time with your favorite celeb.
That's right, these junior Mafia men — Vangeli is signed to SIZE Records, the label run by Swedish House Mafia's Steve Angello, while AN21 (né Antoine Josefsson) is Angello's baby bro — don't want to shake you down. They just wanna party like it's seven days till 2012.
Of course, you still won't sleep. You'll definitely puke. But at least you won't go bankrupt. Yet.
