When the NFL season began, it was pretty much a foregone conclusion that the Philadelphia Eagles would come to town and slam the Miami Dolphins in the face with their juggernautness. But things haven’t quite turned out to be as awesome for the Eagles as originally thought. They signed some big-name players in the off-season and surrounded dynamic quarterback Michael Vick with gobs of talent. They even deemed themselves “The Dream Team” and made comparisons to the Miami Heat. (How dare they?) But injuries to Vick and a bad case of underachieving have turned this supposed Super Bowl dream season into a nightmare for Philly. And so Sunday they limp into Sun Life Stadium (2269 Dan Marino Blvd., Miami Gardens), a shell of the team everyone expected them to be. Of course, they’ll still probably slam the Dolphins in the face, but at least the two teams’ combined suckiness will keep things interesting!
