The Fillmore Miami Beach is the Magic City's go-to room for artists with midsize audiences. So although the Script may not have the same voracious following in South Florida as it does in Europe and South America, the "Celtic soul" pop-rock group might feel more at home at the American Airlines Arena. After all, by crossing the feel-good alt-rock epics of U2 with R&B-savvy production, boy-band-worthy good looks, and sensitive, voice-of-an-angel singing, it ain't no thang for the Script to spend an evening serenading 50,000 screaming females.

Drawing from a long tradition (including but not limited to Elvis, the Beatles, David Cassidy, Mötley Crüe, and the Backstreet Boys) of driving heterosexual women out of their minds, the Script made it clear it had the formula down pat with the 2009 self-titled debut and ultra-sensitive single, "We Cry." The clean production, thoughtful nice-guy lyrics, and soaring string-laden chorus combine for a package that appeals to boy-crazy teens and desperate housewives alike.
And hey, if the million-dollar sex appeal ain't broken, why fix it? This Dublin three-piece's latest record, Science & Faith, continues to sell massive quantities of Goo-Goo-Dolls-in-2011 soft rock that keeps the ladies coming back.
