In March, after running game out of Transit Lounge for eight straight months, the Rising hip-hop series and the tag team behind the enterprise (clothing kingpins Last Rights and rap producer Numonics) decided to take 90 days away from the grind to regroup, re-up, and reorganize.

And this Friday, the series will hit its new hangout — PAX — with a headlining set by ATL heavy, occasional OutKast collaborator, and current T.I. signee Killer Mike, who'll throw down tracks off his sixth street slab, PL3DGE. There'll be beats, bangers, bottles, booty, and backup from locals such as Fusik, Dynas, and Eric Biddines — not to mention Jon the Barber manning the mike and Poe Boy's DJ Smokey Bear bashing it out behind the decks.
