Now it's true that Budden's supercrew Slaughterhouse — Crooked I, Joell Ortiz, and Royce da 5'9" — has been signed to Slim's imprint since the beginning of this year. So the chatter wasn't totally scattershot. But as Jumpoff Joey told rap scene reporter Mr. Peter Parker: "I heard the rumors. People tweeted me all day long. I'm not being signed as a solo artist."

In other words, Joe Budden isn't headed for Shadyville. But it ain't no web bullshit that he'll be hitting the 305 this Friday. That's been verified.
