Stressed? Don’t distress, de-stress. Treat your honey to at least one night’s freedom from the soul-numbing pressure of the daily grind at The Palms Hotel & Spa’s Sip ‘n’ Spa Thursdays. The posh Miami Beach resort is offering 50-percent off all spa and salon treatments from 1 to 9 p.m. every Thursday, along with half-off all appetizers and cocktails at its Essensia Lounge from 6 to 10 p.m. You can even get a couple’s massage in one of the resort’s tiki huts before retreating to the lounge to complete your de-stressification with rose and lychee martini or elderflower smash while nibbling on, say, a slow-roasted organic artichoke with chorizo-lemon-herb breadcrumbs or basil-wrapped jumbo prawn and lemongrass brochettes. Then all you have to do is get through Friday and you’ll be ready for de weekend.
