I'm only 30 and I love Camilo...and his songs are the reason why I can't sleep anymore. I wish someone could sing to me like that..or say those sings...He is a great artist and deserves more respect.

If you laughed at that jab, it's because you know Camilo Sesto. And if you're familiar with the sexagenarian Spanish pop singer, chances are good you're in that middle-age range or beyond. Not that it's a jab at you. Far be it from this publication to suggest you're old. It's just that Sesto hasn't been hot since the '80s. Which isn't to say he hasn't kept himself relevant — putting out records, touring, making your abuela sigh, and generally playing the game. That's exactly why the icon will likely outlive the rest of the population.

I resent your comments. My only consolation is that time is inexorable and one day, if you are very, very lucky you will get to Camilo's age. That, you will be relevant as he still is, remains to be seen. Just the fact that you have taken your time to write about him proves that he is more important than you are.And yes I am a very proud sexagenarian and a had a blast at the concert.Ahh by the way if you fall you will not get up
