Have you looked in the mirror lately. I love the idea that we have black conmissioners and MOST of all a BLACK President. I will be doing all I can to keep my Dennis Moss as the commissioner for Richmond Heights. He has done a great job, and the community has grown and it looks great! I grew up there and now I live in Cutler Bay. It is beautiful here and try to keep all of thugs out. So please stay where you are and you will not get my vote either. It's people like you that make a change very hard to maintain. We will keep climbing, for we plan to have a crystal star. Something you nothing about. Yes We Can and Dennis Moss will continue to do good for our community. You need to Stop! Stop! because you don;t Got it!, Got it!

You must be out of your mind if you honestly believe that Uncle Luke's music is the source of the problem in predominantly black neighborhoods. That's like blaming Marylin Manson for the Columbine massacre. It doesn't hold up. If that's the only reason you aren't voting for him then you must be ignorant. You will never find a politician who is perfect. I would, however, like to see someone who isn't as corrupt as Julio Robaina take office. My only fear are prejudice Cubans who don't consider Luke as a legitimate candidate because he's another "negrito".

Luke is Right! However the i raised the question a number of years ago in an open forum at the Caleb Center when Moss and Rolle were still Novice and Chief Parker was making his rounds and had not been appointed Chief. Carey Shuler was the Chair-woman and Teele had just started his tenure on the Miami Commission. Oh Yeah! HT Smith was the moderator.
Guess what? The issues were glazed over and the culture continued.
I came up on Luke his mother and my grandmother lived on the same block! He is a unique, talented, smart individual that just may make a change!

WOWWWW!!!!! Mr. Campbell, you never seem to surprise me, up until I read this article. This is probably the only time I have agreed with you, out of all the articles you have posted.
These black Commissioners have all been part of the misappropriation and mismanagement of monies team, and on top of it all, the gross misuse of tax payers resources. Lets face it, most of all the Commissioners are.
What adds insult to injury, is that they all benefit from those districts that pay more taxes. For example: they all voted to increase property taxes. WHY? Because most of the constituents in these districts pay very little Taxes compared to other districts.
Then, one would be lead to believe that they would make the best out of the monies allocated to the infrastructure in their district. Instead they funnel it through other special interest and non profit organizations. You guessed it, its all a BIG SCAM.
You would think that they would promote the infrastructure to a healthy capitalistic agenda, where private business would thrive. Were young and experience entrepreneurs would give themselves a chance to a healthy business opportunity. But instead these Commissioners PIMP their constituents with more and more hand outs, for the exchange of a never ending political campaign. Ex: Here is disability check give me your vote. Here is public housing, give me your vote. Here is a food stamp, give me your vote. Here is more government made up working positions, give me your vote.
Thats right lets keep the blacks dependent on us the Afro American Commissioners, and our Government. Talk about oppression.
WHY would people under these circumstances, wonder how a dictatorship begins? When they place themselves in it, neck deep.
