If we had known being on a reality-TV show was so profitable, we would have signed up for the first season of Survivor faster than you can say fame whore. Snooki and those Jersey Shore assholes will make about a million dollars this year, and that’s just for their fourth season. And let’s not forget about the housewives. The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Nene Leakes is ever expanding her brand. She has Celebrity Apprentice and a book deal, and now she is a thespian. No, not a lesbian (like Kim Zolciak once was); Leakes is taking a turn on the drama stage. She is starring in Theo London’s award-winning play, Loving Him Is Killing Me. Also in the cast are soul singer Angie Stone, sexy model Tyson Beckford, music legend Lenny Williams, and Joe “Tiny” Barrino from VH1’s Fantasia Barrino reality show. From what we hear, the play is “filled with endearing characters, hilarious moments, and a family who uses faith and the power of prayer to overcome the temptations.” Temptations like what? All we can hope is that Tyson takes off his shirt and Nene rips off someone’s wig. The show opens Friday at the James L. Knight Center and runs through Sunday.
