Part of the reason why there is so much crime in Miami is because you idiots do not have any youth programs to educate. You do not have any community involvement and you could obviously care less about the poor communities of Miami. Instead of blaming everyone else you need to look at where the problem starts. Poverty. Poverty breeds violence and as long as there is an ever increasing gap between rich and poor in Miami you are going to have these problems. I am glad that they have the AAA and The Marlins Stadium. The community need venues that add to the entertainment value of the region. Had the people before us felt the same way there never would have been the Orange Bowl. The dummies blew it a long time ago. As I remember, Walt Disney wanted to bring Disney World to this area and was run away. What if we had all of those people coming here. There would still be cow pastures and orange groves in Orlando. The reason being that Overtown and Liberty City are in the horrible condition they are is because of years of neglect and oppression and you know this. These communities have been ostracized and put at an unfair socioeconomic status way before you Cubans came to Miami. These communities get very little of the money or services compared to other communities in Miami. And it all stems from the self-serving a$$hole politicians in Miami. And for your information, I am white and I don't think LC said anything racist about the "white man". You sound to me like the racist. You like what this bigot "whitemanzen" has to say so that clearly is evidence that you tolerate racism.

jd, you hit the nail right on the head. You see people fighting for their liberty over in Egypt and Libya and it just makes you think of the cowards that floated to Miami looking for theirs. No one is racist because they prefer speaking the native tongue in their own country. However, I don't mind a little spanish here and there or any other language for that matter. I respect diversity. But Miami is far from what I call diverse. It has become way out of control.

If I am a racist it is because I have to speak another language to live in my own community. There was never any of this before the Mariel boatlift. They have come here and taken over and NOT in a good way. Paco, you are obviously latin. Were you born here, I seriously doubt it. Do you know what it is like for everyone to call you mommie? Yes, I am a female nimrod. I actually sent my son out of the state to get a good education because all of his teachers here could barely speak english much less teach it.
