Back in the mid-'90s, when punk was going mainstream, the band refused a move to the majors, stuck with Epitaph, and eventually landed on its own label, Fat Wreck Chords. And over the years, NOFX has answered to no one while still managing to outsell many major label acts. Most people in this crew's shoes would spit a big I told you so in the faces of those who thought NOFX was completely crazy for staying on an independent label. "I don't say it. People know," says singer and leader Fat Mike, with a tone of well-earned cockiness.

Like its indie stance, NOFX's music has always been uncompromising, dealing with topics as varied as politics, religion, fisting, and PCP. So expect a rangy, wild set of classics, covers, and newer originals when Fat Mike and friends hit Revolution this Friday.
