"In terms of enjoyment, I actually enjoy the road more than the studio," he admits. "The studio is a moment of deep concentration, where you're very focused. Touring is just pure happiness — going on the road with a bunch of friends, and communicating every night with different people, and celebrating. It's like a continuous celebration."

So it's no surprise that Drexler spends so much time on the road. His last tour led him to some 160 different venues in 16 countries. And his current tour has new stops. "Going to all these countries — like Costa Rica, Peru, Brazil, Mexico, Colombia — and finding people that actually know every word of your songs, it's just so strange," he says. "And it's so amazing."
