Wynwood and the Design District might be Miami’s art meccas du jour. But do they have staying power? Only time will tell. Coral Gables, on the other hand, has proven art cred; Gallery Night existed for decades before the Second Saturday Art Walk. And now, the City Beautiful is primed to reclaim its spot as the cultural melting pot of Miami-Dade by bringing other assets to the fray — besides free wine. This Friday’s Gallery Night will include two events taking place simultaneously: the Art in the Park Concert Series and Giralda Under the Stars. Art in the Park will bring live entertainment, food, and more art to Ponce Circle Park — an easy stop on the gallery tour. Bands Ketchy Shuby, Xperimento, and ¡Suenalo! will perform.
